The homeowner welcomed us into her 1930s Spanish-style home with a clear vision: she wanted new railings that would blend seamlessly with the existing ironwork found throughout her home—both inside and out. Maintaining aesthetic continuity was not just a preference; it was a priority. She wanted every new piece we built to look like it had been there since day one.

Her project goals were clear:

• Add a new staircase and railing to provide backyard access to the second floor.

• Upgrade and repair existing access gates.

• Restore a rust-damaged balcony railing off the bedroom.

In addition to the new construction, we were tasked with repairing an existing second-floor railing off the bedroom that had rusted through at the base. Our team handled both the new fabrication and the delicate on-site repairs quickly and efficiently, ensuring a cohesive, polished look that respected the home’s original style.

Given the home’s historic character, we incorporated a Spanish-style decorative panel into the new railings—carefully selected to echo the patterns found at the front door and throughout the interior of the home. The result? A perfect match that looked as if it had always been there.
